Variegated yarns make darning with colour way more relaxing; they eliminate the need to purchase multiple yarn shades, pull colour combinations together, rethread your needle multiple times and tidy up a bunch of loose yarn tails.
 
Made from 100% merino wool—free from any synthetic fibres—this earth friendly yarn won't release microplastics in the wash.
 
This luxury yarn was spun and dyed in Italy for the iconic knitwear brand Missoni. It's actually leftover or surplus yarn generated during the textile manufacturing process that would otherwise be discarded or end up in landfill. 
 
Please be aware we were only able to source limited quantities of each shade, so we won’t be able to restock this yarn in the future.
 
The fine 3-ply yarn can be split into single strands or doubled/tripled for repairs to thicker knitted garments. It would be most suitable for mending fine – medium weight knitwear.
 
Each card provides approximately 10 meters (33 feet) of yarn with color change lengths varying between 7cm and 30cm.
